CASE STUDY

Outerknown

The sustainable lifestyle brand launches ‘Second Spin’, a connected knitwear collection made from recycled materials to minimize its environmental footprint.

Circularity requires the ability to identify and manage products. Outerknown leverage EON’s Connected Product Cloud to track the life cycle of every Second Spin garment — from fibers to factories.

Now each product can be digitally identified, creating the necessary digital foundation to manage items through future resale, rental, and sharing programs, and close the loop through recycling and regeneration.

“We want to keep our products out of the landfill and in circulation, forever. This collection is another step in the right direction as we move towards our goal of becoming fully circular by 2030. We are excited to partner with a vertical supply chain partner to create these high-quality recycled garments, while also helping transform the way the industry interacts with and tracks products to enable a circular economy.”
